This past weekend, I had the pleasure of witnessing Goapele Live on stage. Kamo and I, sadly missed a chance of shooting backstage for the first time. To our advantage bassline wasn’t packed. Then the snapping went down…
I dig her tattoo, really cool.
It was such a great show. I wished She came with a band. I don’t know if organizers try and cut costs or what, but these shows could even better if there were bands play. Nothende was one of the supporting acts and her performance sounded more real with her band.
I hope that Cats are aware of this when they organize gigs like these. Nonetheless, it was a killa show it was worth checking out. Props to UPE (These are the same guys that brought Dwele to the country).

These pics are close to a video recording u brought Goapele to life, with all the smoke in the background u’re focus didn’t get distracted. The first shot of the silhouehette is ma favourite the red lighting in the back with hi-lights on her body just simply describe her music to me, music made with passion.
